Ducks: 6 birds, but no more than 4 mallards (no more than 1 of which may be female), no more than 1 black duck, no more than 2 wood ducks, no more than 1 pintail, no more than 1 canvasback, no more than 2 scaup, and no more than 2 redheads.
Coots & Gallinules: 15 birds
Mergansers: 5 birds (only one of which may be a hooded merganser)
Virginia & Sora Rails: 25 birds

Northwest MVP Zone:

The Northwest MVP Zone consists of Lake, Obion and Weakley counties, and those portions of Gibson and Dyer counties not included in the Southwest MVP Zone.
Southwest MVP Zone:
Oct. 1 - 9 & Dec. 11 - Jan. 29
Daily bag limit: 2 birds
The Southwest MVP Zone includes that portion of the state bounded on the north by Hwys. 20 and 104 and on the east by Hwys. 45W and 45.
Kentucky/Barkley Lakes Zone:
Oct. 1 - 9 & Dec. 11 - Jan. 29
Daily bag limit: 2 birds
Kentucky/Barkley Lakes Zone includes those counties or portions thereof west of Hwy. 13 not included in the Northwest and Southwest MVP Zones.
Remainder of the State:
Oct. 1 - 9 & Dec. 1 - Jan. 30
Daily bag limit: 2 birds
This includes all counties and portions of counties east of Hwy. 13.
YOUTH WATERFOWL SEASON
Feb. 4 - 5
Youths ages 6-15 only
An adult at least 21 years of age must accompany the youth hunter into the field and must remain in a position to take control of the weapon. The adult may not hunt ducks but may participate in other open seasons. Geese, coots, gallinules, moorhens and ducks, including pintails, may be taken by youths during the Youth Waterfowl Season, but canvasback season is closed. The bag limit is the same as statewide bag limits.
