Rabbit Hunting In Tennessee

Tennessee's rabbit population consists of the cottontail rabbit. While the cottontail's numbers have generally decreased in Tennessee over the years due to a loss of habitat, and an increase in raptors, coyotes, feral cats and other predators, rabbits remain plentiful throughout the state and represent one of Tennessee's most under-utilized hunting seasons.
