NASHVILLE — The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency began accepting applications for the 2007 statewide special season quota deer and turkey hunts on Thursday. Applications will be accepted through September 5.
The current application process is only for county turkey and deer hunts; the deadline to apply for quota hunts on wildlife management areas was July 25.
To apply for a statewide quota hunt, visit any TWRA license agent, TWRA regional office, or apply online by clicking here. Online applicants encountering problems with the application process should contact TWRA by calling 615-781-6621 during regular office hours (8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. central time).
All applications must be electronically filed by midnight on September 5. A copy of the instructions for the hunt can be obtained by clicking here.
