2006 Elections

WHAT?: On November 7, 2006, Tennessee voters will elect U.S. Representatives in each of the state's nine Congressional districts, and will also elect a Senator to replace retiring Majority Leader Bill Frist. With the Republicans holding a moderate lead in the House and a slim lead in the Senate, the 2006 elections are focused on the possibility of the Democrats regaining control of Congress or at least the control of either the House or the Senate. For hunters and gunowners, the issue, as always, is electing a senator and representatives who will represent their interests well in the ever-increasing political warfare being waged by animal rights groups and anti-gun groups.
